Anakeesta offers outdoor activities like their Treetop Skywalk, which includes 14 bridges and a 360-degree view of the Smoky Mountains.

You can also take a ride on a gondola that drops you off at their quaint Firefly Village, where you can shop and dine. If gondolas aren’t for you, opt for the scenic guided tour in a Ridge Rambler as you make your way up. 

Stop and take in the views at Anavista Observation Tower, the highest point in all of downtown Gatlinburg with views of lush gardens and surrounding mountains. 

Take a ride on the Dueling Zipline Adventure or the Rail Runner Mountain Coaster, the only one of its kind in the U.S.! Whether you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon or an adrenaline rush, there’s something for everyone here. 

3. Play at Pigeon Forge Snow

If you can’t beat the heat, visit Pigeon Forge Snow instead! This indoor attraction is fun for all ages and is even a comfortable temperature of 60-70 degrees all year round. 

Experience hillside snow tubing and real snow made out of 100% water with no additives. Visit the SnowPlay area, a place for all ages to enjoy playing in the real snow. Build a snowman, a snow fort, and other fun things. 

You can also choose to relax on our second story with food and drink options from the snack bar. Here, you can also enjoy a view of your loved ones enjoying their tubing and snow play.   

4. Catch A Show

You’ll find a lot of live entertainment in Pigeon Hole that the whole family will enjoy. 

Country Tonite Theatre puts on a two-hour award-winning show that features some of the best singers, dancers, and entertainers in Tennessee. Enjoy a wide variety of acts like bluegrass and gospel songs, comedy acts, and more. 

Feast and become part of the longest feud in history at the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show or take in an ocean adventure at the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show.

Nothing beats a day spent outdoors at a farm full of nature and animals. Visit Big Rock Dude Ranch at Ponderosa for quality time and activities for all ages. 

Animal lovers will especially love all that this ranch offers. Enjoy horseback riding on their 3.5-mile-long mountain trail. V.I.P rides are an option for small children and helmets are available for all riders.

Feed animals like goats, rabbits, chickens, and much more at their free petting zoo. Relax at their catch-and-release fishing pond or enjoy a meal in the shade at the picnic area.

The whole family can be lumberjacks for a day at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Adventure Park. Let the kids run and climb through rope courses or experience log rolling for the first time. 

If you love a thrill, take a simulated freefall or ride their cable-rail roller coaster. This unique coaster merges all the fun of a zipline and rollercoaster in one exciting ride.
